Well..like I've mentioned in the previous post, I've worked and traveled before my bachelor degree starts.
Work was quite cool and fun. Not much to mention this time round.
Main point of this post: Penang trip!
Day 1
Started journey at around 215pm. Was reminiscing about our 8girls3days2nights1island trip 2 years back. Time flies man! Took up approximately 2.5 hours to reach Batu Maung, Penang.
Unpacked, and left the house to meet up friends for dinner @ New Lane. Somewhere near Macalister Road.
Ordered fried pig's intestine porridge and 'cha kue kat'. Porridge was nice (:
Next, went to 1st Avenue cause it's the nearest shopping center around. Not much of shops there since it's still new. Then, we went to chill at Coffee Island. Environment there is nice, suitable place just to chill out with friends.
No pictures were taken on the first day.
Day 2
Pichas time in car!
Nice side view according to chica?
Lovin' my hair colour under sunshine (:
First stop was Harvest In Cafe for brunch. Yummy western food they serve! And the environment is comfortable and soothing as well. A great place recommended to all western food lovers (:
Barbeque Chicken Chop
Chef's Chicken Chop
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Our drinks
Pichas together-gether.
Us girls outside Harvest In Cafe.
Next stop was to see the largest "kun hut" a.k.a. sleeping buddha.
Panorama view of sleeping buddha.
The wheel of fortune. Is the predictions believable?
The "chiams". I've got no. 15. Not a bad one but a lil'...weird?
Headed off to Gurney Plaza after that, and Island Plaza next just to go to Panamax Sdn. Bhd. Stopped by Tutti Frutti in Island Plaza.
Her dreamland.
Straits Quay was next! Straits Quay is a very nice place to take pictures seriously. If only we could see the sunset from there, it'll be perfect! :D
This somehow looks like a hotel with loads of ceiling fan,but fyi, it's not.
Jessica.
Emo-ness.
Fish eyed Jess.
Fish eyed side view of Hayley.
Alien Jess.
The beautiful lighthouse, before and after sunset.
Had Subway for tea time btw. You can have it just the way you like it (:
Headed over to Batu Ferringi later on. Went only for the night market, but not the beaches. This is a tourist spot where locals will need to have some bargaining skills in order to get cheap stuffs.
Sri Ananda mamak was up next! It's said to be the most 'high class' mamak stall in Penang? This mamak totally reminds me of the previous backpack trip we had during post-SPM times. It's located in Tanjung Bungah, opposite Paradise Hotel. The environment is nice and the food's good. You'll totally love this place if you like mamak (:
Tandoori chicken served with cheese naan. The famous one there.
Roti telur.
Chicken murtabak. I would so go for the third time of this when I visit Penang again. Yumms!
Does this reminds you of anything? Haha.
Next stop: Upper Penang Road (UPR)
UPR is known as the clubber's heaven in Penang as all the clubs are located in the same street.
We went there to meet up with friends.
Don't you just love this building?
Monkey Bar.
It strikes 12am, Happy Birthday Mr. Fernando OZZ.
First cup for the celebrated.
The chocolate cheese cake's yumms!
Live band.

Us inside Mois with Alyn and Mr. King Zou.
My ears went half-death when I get out of there.LOL
Before leaving upr.
Left and reached home at around 320am.
Day 3
Lunch at birthday boy's nanny's house. Home cooked food, yumms!
Headed out to buy the famous Tambun biscuits in Jalan Magazine.
Then we headed to Quensbay Mall.
After we left QBM, we headed over for the famous cendol.
The cendol was nice. But I still prefer Ipoh Garden's cendol with glutinous rice and sago.
Headed to the famous "sa tiao lo" to try out the hokkien mee there, but unfortunately, it's closed.
Thus, dinner was in Kimberly street. Had char kuey teow and hokkien mee.
Mr. Bunny Chan! Haha.
Later on, a short stop in Perangin Mall before heading over to Mr. Bunny's house and back to TGI Friday's @QBM.
The mission wasn't easy at all. Only the 4 of us know why.LOL
The celebrated, Mr. Apollo. The chocolate cheese cake's yumms!
They went for movie while the rest of us went to Heritage Coffee to meet up with some friends again.
Live band.
Desmond.
Overall, the place was good. A nice hangout spot for friends to just chill at night (:
McD(s) after we left Heritage Coffee.
Day 4
It just feels like we've just reached Penang not long ago, but it's already the last day in Penang. Time really flies. Last day, never forget to indulge some nice food before leaving of course! (:
The famous Hameed Pata Mee Sotong @ Esplanade.
4 of them said it's very spicy, but I guess it's just okay?
Come on, I don't really eat spicy food but it's okay for me. How can it be VERY spicy?
Lol. Perhaps it's the surrounding that makes it feel spicy.
A cup of coconut shake will definitely soothes your throat. Thumbs up! (:
Everyone's waiting for the stall to open at 12pm. We were the first to order (:
Sir Francis Light.
Finally pictures us girls.
Went to one of the oldest Kuan Yin temple in Penang after lunch.
The sculptures are so artistic that cameras wouldn't resist shooting them all!
The tall and slim ones, Karen and Alyn.
After another cup of drink in the nearby coffee shop, we headed off to Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal. We almost missed the bus back to Ipoh! Lol. But all it well (:
Farewell to Penang @Penang Bridge.
Btw, thanks for ta pau-ing the famous 'pig long noodle' in Penang for us, Desmond.
It's nice when I steamed it hot again back in Ipoh (:
